Emetophobia
I have emetophobia really bad. It's not so much the public part of it, but the act of vomiting is absolutely horrifying for me. Just the thought that I could get sick or that someone around me has been sick makes me horribly anxious. Usually, I take a narcotic panic attack medication but only in the most severe circumstances. But my regular medication isn't safe during pregnancy. This is my 4th baby and I'm currently 5 weeks. And with my other pregnancies I took zofran. It was a lifesaver for morning sickness but it's recently been pulled for health reasons so I don't think pregnant women have that option anymore.
Does anyone else suffer with this problem?? What works?? I need to be able to head off a panic attack before it happens, by controlling nausea. If anyone has some tips I would greatly appreciate it.
