I decided at the last minute NOT to attend my Glucose test this morning, because consuming 75-100 grams of sugar in one hit (not to mention the dyes and additives) after fasting for 8-14 hours sounds like an AWFUL experience for me and my 26 weeks unborn baby.

So many pregnant women report severe nausea or intense vomiting straight after, dizziness, a "high" then a severe "crash"...

Has anyone else gone with the home diabetes testing method?

I'm definitely going to test for GD, I just feel the traditional medical test seems totally counterproductive??

Thoughts?
