My face gets a little red after cleansing and I'm wondering if it's because I need a new cleanser or if I'm just washing for too long?

I would say a couple minutes to cleanse. You shouldn't be scrubbing with a cleanser. It could be the water you're using is just too hot or the cleanser itself is irritating your skin.

Id say about 2 minutes. Its supposed to be like 30 seconds for each section of your face. Is your cleanser an exfoliant? Maybe you're rubbing to hard? Or its just your skin not liking the face wash
