Do you ask your spouse for permission before going out?

I am about to get married soon and I know marriage is different than a regular relationship. Right now we don't live together so when we go out we tell each other where we are and that's about it. I know some couples ask each other permission in marriage if it's okay that they go out with friends and stuff like that ; so I was wondering if anyone here does this?
