Ok with my first son I tried to breast feed but couldn't due to latching problems and milk not coming in. With the one on the way my husband and I have been talking about what we want to do.  We were taking about just formula feeding but know I want to breast feed with supplementing with formula since this time around I'll have to make sure I can get some sleep and take care of our five year old and my husband now works during the day. Last time I would stay up all night and then my husband would take over for a few so I could slee. Is supplemently feeding possible to start of with? Or do I need to breast feed souls for a month before hand?
