Uti cause false positive?

So I got my BFP on Tuesday and they keep getting darker and digital test was positive also. Ive been so paranoid about everything because i want this to really be it. I might be getting a uti and was wondering if that could caise false positives?

I am prone to UTIs and one of my early pregnancy symptoms is feeling like I am getting a UTI, just the initial feeling though, kinda crampy, sensitive down there, peeing a lot, but I find it soon lessens because those are not UTI symptoms, but pregnancy symptoms. I found drinking lots of orange juice helped me feel better (also gets rid of the bacteria if at UTI is in fact starting) and keeps things healthy down there as your body changes. However, I have also read UTIs are more common in pregnant women, so take my advice with a grain of salt. It is just my personal experience.

No,not at all but if you think you may have one you need to get checked out so it doesn't turn into a bad kidney infection. Call your nurse

Did you take Azo (Phenazopyridine) for your UTI symptoms? Azo changes the urine color so it could potentially make you misread results. If not, then answer is no.. a UTI won’t give you a false positive.
