BFP well after missed period?

Question

Hi all! Wondering if this has happened to anyone...
​My cycles are regular - either 26 or 27 days, always. Been TTC baby #1 for 8 months. Today is day 29 and AF hasn't shown up yet...BUT I got a BFN tonight. 
​Did anyone only get their first BFP a few days after a missed AF? Maybe even a week after? I'm wondering if I should hold out hope or be worried!

If you ovulated late, it may still be too soon to detect the HCG hormone. As long as AF had not come, you are still in the game! I would give it a few days, if no AF, test again with fmu. Good luck to you!

If you haven't gotten your period yet there's still hope. I got a BFN 5 days after my missed period and I am the average 28 days cycle like clock work. I called my doc in confusion and she said to wait and test I. Three days. Sooo 8 days intoyossed period I got the faintest positive! Today it's pretty clear at 9 days intoy missed period. Here's hoping it's the same for you! Good luck!
