How long were you and your SO dating before discussing the future?

How long were you with your SO until either of you guys talked about wanting to be together forever?

We kinda have just talked about things as a "what if" kinda situation. Like we don't really talk about a lot of things, but we definitely have had tiny conversations about marriage and like how long into a relationship is a good time to get married.. he knows I love kids, but like we've only been together for 2 years and are poor and still in school, so we don't want to talk about that just yet.. we mostly talk about our future careers. We both finally are set on what we want to do with our lives and just realized this fairly recently so it's been kinda exciting cuz we decided that someday we want to open something together and maybe have it be like a family business that even his sisters are included in possibly and we've recently talked about moving to Colorado or somewhere like that together someday.. but like there's so much time and we want to focus on bettering ourselves and furthering our education and work experience before really getting into SERIOUS future conversations.. that'd just be too much pressure and we both just like to be in the moment as much as possible.

6 months I believe. We're still deciding everything. We'll be together a long time before we actually plan on getting married. We want to wait until 25 or 26 and we started dating when I was 13 and he was 14. I'm 15 and he's 16 almost 17 now

About two weeks. We knew this was real right from the beginning but had to get over initial "new couple" jitters before we could really admit how serious it was.

We both knew we wanted a steady relationship and we honestly didn't think it's work out - we were set up by his parents and really only did it to shut his mom up - so we really threw everything Our in the open at once. Skeletons, secrets and goals for life. We talked about our future probably about two weeks into talking, because we wanted to make sure we were on the same page.

We started dating freshman year of high school then graduation day came and we were still together and graduation night we had a talk about our future and now here we are 7 years later living in our own apartment trying to have a baby 😊

less than a month. we dated for 2 weeks.  because official as a couple after that. within a month we established on what we both are looking for in this relationship. we agreed on a family,  a marriage,  a future. that was 6 years ago. married, with a 10 month old daughter.

the first day. he already knew i was looking for a permanent relationship and if he didnt want the same we never would have started anything. we began our relationship in late april and by september he said he was sure he wants to marry me. we married in january and he still says its the best decision he ever made even though lots of his friends and family said he was too young and he would regret it. Im a very upfront person and like to have all the cards on the table from the start. i didnt want to waste my time with anyone who didnt want the same things from a relationship that i did. its better to know all that stuff sooner than later before youre too invested in someone.

Hmmm, well. Immediately. We were both homeless basically and had to move into an RV from the 70s rotting in black mold. We moved in when we met, which is crazy and I wouldn't recommend that for anyone else. We talked about how we were going to get on our feet, stopped talking and did it. We're in a house now. 
We both know we don't want kids right now and both know that could change.
