Does Marijuana affect female fertility?

Question

I know that smoking weed can slow down sperm and/or lower sperm count, so my SO has already quit completely because for him it's purely recreational, but does it effect female fertility? I smoke 1-4 times a week to help my anxiety. I can't get a medical license in my state because they're so strict about who can get them, but i can manage my anxiety without medication if I smoke. Luckily pregnancy seems to balance me out and I can and will quit as soon as I miss my period or get a positive pregnancy test. For some reason my anxiety seems to be so much more manageable or nonexistent when I'm pregnant. I cut down a lot already usually I only do once or twice a week and have been meditating and doing other techniques to help manage my anxiety, but sometimes it's just the only thing that helps. Please don't hate, if you don't agree with weed that's fine but no need to be condescending towards me. Is it going to prevent me from getting pregnant? Has anyone here gotten pregnant while still smoking occasionally?

Before getting pregnant I was an everyday weed smoker for the past 4 years and smoked 1-3 times a day . When my husband and I began TTC it took about 8 months , which I don't think is too bad . I know many women who smoke weed and have had lots of healthy children. Since it's weed which in my opinion has more positive effects than negative depending on how you intake it I wouldn't be too worried .

I used to smoke a lot before conceiving my first child, and quit as soon as I was pregnant with him. My husband and I started to try to conceive after my son turned two. After 4 months of trying and not succeeding we had a night out and I smoked again for the first time in almost 3 years and BOOM I got pregnant 😀 I think it helped everything relax so I always thought it helped me get pregnant.

That's interesting to know I don't smoke at all my boyfriend smokes like 5 times a day we been trying to conceive for a year now and no luck I'm wondering if his smoking has something to do with it now 🤔

There is a lot of debate on this subject right now. I honestly believe it just depends on your own body. My cousin got pregnant no problem while smoking weed daily.. Yet Im having trouble getting pregnant. So I decided to quit and see if that makes a difference.
