Pedicures induce labor?

So I've heard that pedis induce labor? Is this true?

I read you aren't supposed to get foot massages during pregnancy because of all the pressure points. I had a prenatal massage and that's what she told me. She said that massage therapists shouldn't massage below your ankles.

I graduated cosmetology 2008 and we were told we couldn't massage a pregnant woman's feet BUT now when I go to get a pedicure they still try to and I tell them I don't want a massage and they question me. I just stick to what I learned😀

I'm 38 weeks and ready to have this baby lol he's measuring above normal and the doctor said he's weighing at about 8lbs he's in position already but just no signs of him wanting to come but I'm ready lol I'm not trying or wanting to force him but I'm trying to help him

Nope. There are pressure points on the feet that have been said to induce labor but I'm not 100% sure on the accuracy.
