I hate this question. Gahhh. I love my significant other and I love my daughter. They both mean so so so much to me. There will be times where I'll prioritize my relationship with one or the other depending on the situation. But I can't choose between the two because I love them both and I think there is no reason to point out that one means more or is put before the other.

I absolutely cannot understand how someone who has created carried give birth and brought up a child does not automatically put them first before anyone else in the world. I love my partner but it doesn't come close to the love I have for my daughter! she will ALWAYS be number 1. and I don't believe in 'your children will move out one day and you'll still have your partner' because she will still be number 1. my dad remarried and his wife doesn't like the fact he's got 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren and so he puts her before all of us and it's disgusting! if you your child's mother doesn't put that child first then who will?? sorry not sorry

there are times when you have to put one or the other first and that's ok. just remember you need to balance everything bc when the kids are grown and out of the house you still have to live with each other and you don't want your spouse to be a stranger bc you never made them a priority.

I don't have kids and my SO isn't put first because school will always be put before him. We both put school first because we want to get into good colleges and do good things in life
