I need advice! before sex

my bf and I are wanting to have sex, were gonna use a condom but I was wondering how good plan B worked just to be extra safe and if I had to have my parents with me at the doctor to get on birth control. (they won't allow me on it) so Idk how to sneak that. PLEASE RESPOND
