What happens if you don't go to a doctor? Will it go away on its own?

I've never gone the the doctor for one, but I always used an over the counter treatment like monistat. I don't wouldn't suffer through it if you don't have to.

Eventually. I had one once and it was irritating but I let it go and it went away. When I had it, I asked my mom if that's what it was. She said yes and she never goes to the doctor for them. I'm pretty sure there's over the counter medicine for it too that you can just get at a pharmacy without a prescription.

it won't go away on its own. there are home remedies you can try or go get an otc  medicine like monistat follow the directions and use other the entire period of time it says to. I'm on day 3 of using monistat with mine and it's helping a lot.

I have had yeast infections twice from soap and the other time from antibiotics medication and both times ive went to the doctor to get it treated because its irritating. I went because it can actually cause long term issues with your fertility. The infection can actually damage something in your reproductive system and i was told this by doctors. If your belief is that it goes away on its own then fine. there are over the counter medications and treatments that can work too but just be careful.
