Today is a sad day for me and my family.

When I was little the only thing I wanted to be was a police officer. My uncle is the chief deputy at my local county sheriffs department.. in TN you're supposed to be 21 to apply but luckily being his niece and with some votes I was hired at 20. I'm currently 22, almost 23 and for the past 2 years I've had the pleasure of working with my uncle serving the same county as him. He was so well respected! I meet my SO there, and we are expecting a little one in April.. we hadn't told anyone yet.

Well today I got a phone call saying my uncle had past away unexpectedly. And I'm so heartbroken.. at a loss for words and shocked. He was a wonderful man. He served in the marines. He served his country and county well. I'm having a difficult time because I didn't even get to tell him about the baby we are expecting.. 💔 such a sad day.
