Hi, I'm 20 y/o and I've been with my 24 y/o boyfriend for a little over a year. We live together (just got a place together in may). I have a family history of substance abuse and suffered as a child at the hands of my family members. I used to drink and smoke weed a little bit as a teen, but I had bad experiences with it. My boyfriend knows that I'm not really comfortable with it, but he continues to drink every night. Sometimes he drinks beer, sometimes liquor. Usually he drinks 2-4 beers per night. I don't know much about alcohol intake so I don't know how much is considered excessive. If he only drank like one beer per night or if he drank a few once or twice a week it wouldn't bother me so much. Today I found a bottle on the edge of the bathtub, so he was even drinking in the tub last night. It just gets really irritating. Is this normal for a guy his age? Any answers are much appreciated
