Freaking out

In April I was diagnosed with hypothyroid. So now every couple weeks in order to get my thyroid meds refilled I need a blood test done. The first time I did the blood test, they called me and told me my dosage was too high. So when I do my refill ,it will be a lower dosage. This time, when I do my next scheduled blood test, they called me back on a Friday to tell me they couldn't give me my results over the phone and I had to make an appointment within the next 2 weeks in order to receive them. So I made the earliest possible appointment for this coming Monday, because I am going crazy thinking what possibly is soo bad they found that they can't tell me on the phone. How could you call me and tell me that right before a weekend when I can't see my doctor right away?! Someone please tell me that it is possible this could just be stupid doctor office protocol to force me to pay for a doctor's appointment. 😰
