Dr. denying bloodwork

So, after meeting with my doctor two weeks ago she sent me to a fertility specialist to find out why I've had repeated miscarriages. She said we would run all the testing through her office so that my insurance would cover it. Today when I called to find the status of my bloodwork requisition form, the nurse I spoke to said they would not do the paperwork. So basically I am back to square one. It has only been a month and a half since the last miscarriage, and she told me to wait three cycles before we try again, but I think we might just not use protection and if it happens, it happens. I feel a little betrayed, but I love the doctor and the nurse wouldn't let me speak with her today, so I don't know what to do. Maybe if I get pregnant and get in right a way to have some labs done it'll go smoother this time? I just really wanted to avoid another loss.
