So my SO and I have been together for three years and we have talked about marriage seriously. I have told him that it's important to me to at least do things somewhat traditionally: I want to have that special moment where he proposes to me and I want to meet him at the alter and exchange vows even if it's a small wedding. Now he's Telling me that he wants to just go get married at the courthouse asap and saying that I am petty for wanting to be prosed to and that I'm making our marriage about something other than love and that it's stupid that I would want that. I just want those romantic moments to look back on and tell our future children about, am I wrong?
