I need a Nicu Mom friend. Any Takers?

Hello I wondering if anyone wanted to be my friend? :) but seriously I need someone who has or is going thru the same situation as me to help me get thru this tuff time in my life. I need some reassurance & positive feedback. Someone who understands.  my anxiety is so bad these days.. I'm constantly watching my phone to see if I missed any calls from her doctors. But she is a 27weeker 30weeks now & having some problems.. heart rate drops, had water in her lungs.. had extra air in her belly.. lost weight she is only 1lb 11 oz. on the cpap machine & now they see a spot in her tummy & got her on antibodies..

Just had my son on Tuesday @ 25 weeks 5 days I am a new mommy to the nicu and Would love to connect with other moms in similar situation.

I had my daughter at 28weeks+2days July of last year due to preeclampsia. She is now 15 months actual/12.5 Months adjusted. Her NICU stay went semi okay. She was on oxygen for longer than everyone thought she would be which has resulted in mild lung damage. She had issues with water retention and had to be on medications to shed the water even after coming home for a bit. She also came home needing neb treatments. Also had a couple blood transfusions and needed time under the bili lights. Figuring out feeding also look longer than everyone thought it would. She ended up coming home on her due date though and has done well since. I was an anxious mess while she was in the NICU and had to have them put my husband as her primary contact because when they would call I would suddenly panic that it was bad news. Still dealing with PTSD from her birth a year later. However, she is now an intelligent and amazing little girl and you’d have no idea she was a preemie. While you’re in the thick of it it is awful, but it gets better.

yes I have wit my son it was horrible I had to leave him in the NICU they put a feeding tube in his nose he was attached to wires on I had him at 35 in a half weeks he was tiny I was scared to hold him it was a very depressing situation for me as a first time mom
