Trying to conceive! 🙏🏼😭❤️

My husband and I are trying for our first time. We had an unplanned pregnancy 3 years ago while being on birth control but this year we decided our son needs a sibling. I did not have sex on the actual fertile day but I had sex 3 weeks straight besides that day. How far after ovulation should I test? Or should I just wait till next month when I'm suppose to get my period. And also this will be my first month of conceiving right after being off birth control. Any tips ladies?
