Miscarriage Advice

This is my second miscarriage, so I'm no professional, but my last miscarriage was TOTALLY DIFFERENT than this one. It happened a little over a week ago and long story short, I had a super weird dream last night so I woke up and took a pregnancy test. The test came out pretty dark positive (2 weeks after my last, my HCG was 0) the doctor had told me I was miscarrying when my levels weren't rising appropriately and I began to bleed. (I bled for 3 days and stopped. And then spotted very little since) is it possible I'm still pregnant, or is this normal? They didn't do an ultrasound or anything because I would have only been 6 weeks, I'm calling the doctor first thing tomorrow morning. But I don't want to get my hopes up for no reason. Has anyone had anything similar to this? Thanks!
