Ultra Sound UUUUGGGGHHH 🙄🙄🙄🙄

SOOOO.... Here we go haha. I'm 18 weeks 2 days. Yesterday, I was supposed to have an ultra sound to find out what I'm having. My fiancé works in the oil field and he's going back to work for 6 weeks, 3 days from now. I told my baby doctor this two days ago, and he said he didn't mind doing an ultra sound to try to find out given the circumstances, I want my fiancé to be there with me. We couldn't do it at the doctors office, so he had his nurse find a place to do mine the next day, which is an emergency room right by where I live. So we go, EARLY in the morning, on a Saturday. His sister comes with too. We wait and we wait and we wait and finally a lady comes out and she's confused, and asks how far along I am and I told her. And she says that the nurse sent a request for me to have a first trimester scan ???? Great. I need an anatomy scan. Then, she goes on to tell me that they won't even do an anatomy scan until 20-22 weeks, sometimes even longer. I'm pissed. I was literally just talking with his sister about how lots of ladies find out what they're having at 16 weeks, and that on this app I've found several ladies with the same due date as me and they all know what they're having. And basically she tells me no in a super condescending way, and that's about it. So. Yep. I'm pissed, I'm so sad and disappointed because I really wanted my fiancé there for the ultra sound, this is our first and it really just means a lot to us that he's there. He's probably going out of state for the next 6 weeks... I'm heartbroken. 😔😔😔
