Should recreational drugs be legalized?

I was just watching a documentary on the war on drugs and was curious what people think about legalizing drugs

ABSOLUTELY! 
Legalizing, regulating and distributing drugs will make sure that the heroine you're buying isn't laced with fentanyl. Or the cocaine is real. Etc.
Plus if it's taxed? That's a lot of money in our government. A lot of extra money. 
I see no problem with it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ turn it into a business. Give addicts a safe place and give them safe Rec drugs.

YES YES YES!!!
In countries that have decriminalized them (but not legalized) AND countries that have decriminalized AND legalized it, have seen phenomenal results. Addiction and abuse have gone down, and drugs can now be regulated to be made safer, and can be taxed.

Marijuana? Shrooms? Acid? Sure. I could even entertain an argument for MDMA and cocaine. 
Some should be illegal though. You'll never convince me meth or angel dust (PCP) should be legalized and taxed.

A) I love how so many people have a line of what is and isn't "recreational," but it's not the same line.
B) There is nowhere (that I know of) that all drugs are legal. Nope. Not even Amsterdam. (Did you know that drugs like cocaine, LSD, heroin, and morphine are still illegal there?)
