I would imagine that's a thing, otherwise no one would ever elope in vegas

You can't here in Aus because you need to lodge an intent to marry 30 days before said wedding.

In Texas you need to wait a few days after getting the marriage license I think. I assume it's not like that everywhere like Vegas

I suppose it's possible but I've never heard of it. And I'm not even sure why you would want to?? Also, I highly doubt you could get a marriage license and find someone to marry you with that short of notice.
