I'm trying to figure out what is going on and if anyone else has experienced this. Before I had my son, I never had any issues with spotting between periods. After my son, I used Mirena for about 3 years until I got tired of the ridiculous amount of weight I gained and couldn't get off. I had it removed and started using birth control. I literally tried 3 different brands for a little over a year and with each one I had days of spotting before my actual period. I went and had fibroid screening done and everything was normal, or so they say, but I continued to spot between cycles. I stopped taking them in April because we decided we wanted to start TTC. I had a 2 day period in May, maybe because I was stopping in the middle of the 3 month pack. I had hoped getting off the extra hormones would help my body regulate itself and I would stop spotting but, since then, every month I've had the same spotting for 3-4 days the week before my period starts. It starts out a very light pink and then it's brown for a day and then a couple of days of bright red. Sometimes it's just enough to feel like CF and other times it's enough I need a panty liner. Has anyone else experienced this? My GYN has not been particularly helpful aside from changing my prescription. She didn't even call me back to tell me the results of my screening. I called 3 times and a nurse finally just told me what the X-rays said...Should I find a new doctor?? I'm a little concerned about what is happening. I don't want it to interfere with us TTC.
