Hello everyone my name is Maria and I'm 4 weeks and two days today!!

Maria
Hello everyone,
My name is Maria. I am 25 years old and soon to be 26 in June. I am RN and I have my Masters degree in PTSD for soldiers. I am happily married for almost a year and a half now. My husbands name is Brian. He is 28 years old. My amazing  husband is in the Army Reserves for almost 11 years now. My first year of marriage my husband was deployed in Guantánamo Bay Cuba. My has been returned home on December 24, 2014. That was the best Christmas present ever. My husband and I always wanted to have children. We had decided once he came home from deployment that we would not use any contraceptives and just go with the flow. My husband has been home for almost 3 months and we are pregnant!!!!! We found out yesterday when I went to the doctor and got blood work done. We had two positive tests but me being a nurse wanted to have blood work done to make sure that I was officially pregnant. We couldn't be more excited. The hardest thing I have experienced so far is the lack in sleep. I was on several sleep medications to help me sleep because I have a hard time getting into The third cycle of sleep. Last night was the first night I went without having any my pills. The doctor said I could take a Unisom tablet which I have done but it didn't seem to do much. I have also experienced some cramping. I can be very discomforting. I have found out sleeping on your stomach is very discomforting and I tend to get sharp pain. I am hoping within the next couple weeks my body gets more sleep and takes the pregnancy well. This is my first pregnancy and my husband's first!!! My expected due date is right before Christmas December 19 2015!!! What is a better gift than having a child for Christmas!!! My husband and I are truly blessed. We are so excited to share our pregnancy with all of you!!! And I would like to say congratulations to every mom who is pregnant or has had children already. It is truly the biggest blessing!! I myself was adopted from a Romanian orphanage when I was a year and a half by an amazing American family. My husband and I have also made the decision to adopt a child as well. I would like to give a child like myself a life that they may never had!! If anyone can give me some advice about my first pregnancy and help me through it would be truly amazing! I had moved to Massachusetts and have been here for almost 2 years. Unfortunately I do not have a lot of friends here so I'm kind of on my own when it comes to my pregnancy. Both our families are extremely excited to have a baby!! My husband and I joke what our child would look like since he is almost 6'1 and I am 4' 11. My husband was 8 lbs. 10 oz. when he was born and I was 5 pounds. So we are hoping for a baby in the middle of both of our birth weights. I am so very excited to be pregnant and though the journey might be a long and tiresome it is truly worth it!!!!
