I was supposed to start a new pack of birth control yesterday (Sunday) my usual time is @ 1:30pm/ Anyway, I forgot to pick it up. And today I will not have time to pick it up until 8pm. So I missed the first pill complete, and the second pill will be 7 hours late or so (which I believe that late is considered as a missed pill?) So I’m not sure If tonight when I take my pill am I supposed to take both the one from yesterday and today at the same time? And then continue with the pack as normal? Also am I supposed to use protection for the next 7 days?

If it makes any difference , my pack has 2 placebo pills. Which was my Friday and Saturday pill.

I feel like everything I'm reading is conflicting so I'm confused. Some say take 2 on the day and 2 the next day.. some say take the pill and discard the previous ones.
