3 day period????

So I got my period the 5 of this month and it lasted 3 days... The first day was kinda heavy when it started and the next too were basically spotting... Its like it the quickest period ever... Has this happened to anyone? What does it mean?

I usually have a 5 day period which is normal-heavy 1st 2-3 day then it is light- spotting the last 2 days ... However this last period I had in March was only 3 days long just like what you described in the post, how ever I am not TTC and my doctor said that woman's bodies change every 7years or so and also could be stress, so you may have a change in your period, you could possibly only get it for 3 days here on out, or maybe it was a one time things you have to wait and see however since there are mainly things that take place in a woman body and due to other comments you should go to your OBGyn and get a check up

It sounds like you may have had implantation bleeding if you are trying to get pregnant. How long are they normally and how bad is the flow? (Mine before my daughter lasted 11days and it was like someone was making me bleed to death on the inside). If its a drastic change I would wait about a week or two and take a test

I usually only have a 3 day period. It's extremely heavy at first and then just tapers off throughout the next few days. I have talked to my doctor and she said it a normal and sometimes your body releases the flow more quickly. Not sure if that helps.
