What's your experience dating a guy much younger than you?

Anyone women experience dating a man 3-10 years later younger than you? 
In my eyes age is a number, but just curious of others thoughts.

I'm 38 he's 28 been together since he was 23. Almost 5 years. Took a Good 6 months to get used to the age difference and not feel like a total pedofile lol. He pursued me for 6 months. I blew him off initially and told him you are better off alone than in bad company. I had taken. A year and a half to heal from a major break up and worked on myself, my self esteem and self worth and confidence etc. I wasn't letting anyone mess that up. We took it one day at a time. Took it slow. I got tired of being used and abused and taken advantage of. I told him sex was not a priority to me that a relationship was and that if he got it that it would not be regularly. Figured that would have sent him running. I made him wait a year and a half for it. Not many 23 year olds would sacrifice not having sex for that long. Best decision I ever made. We are best friends. We never fight. Got to know each other well. He said I was worth the wait. That man practically worships the ground that I walk on. Makes every effort and sacrifice and compromise to be with me willingly. I'm not emotionally codependent or clingy. I don't need him. He needs me. I don't tolerate any bs, or disrespect, he knows the door is open. He doesn't dare catch an attitude or any crap. All I have to say is Excuse me? and give him a look and he cuts the crap. He's my first good morning text every day. He gets up at 4am. And when I awaken, that's what I see every day. We used to have differences of music and movies.  But we compromise. He's learned music of every generation and genre. He's gotten better over the years. Done a lot of growing up. We shall see what the future holds. I'm not in any rush. Still take it day by day.
