A few weeks ago we set up our event page for our baby shower on Facebook where I posted our registry right there in the description. Then I had people asking where we were registered so I made a post and posted the link again. Since then we've had people telling us that they already bought things/won't be buying off the registry.

My husband and I are a little frustrated because what we absolutely NEED is in the registry! We've been blessed with so much stuff being given to us already and I just feel like I made a pointless registry if people aren't even going to bother buying something off it.

Are we being ridiculous? I just don't want a bunch of things we won't like or use stuffed into the nursery. Nothing on there is over $40 so I just don't understand.
