My best friend was with someone a long time ago who was secretly a nasty mofo. Long story short, he's a dirt bag and ended up giving her herpes and completely denying it after she told him it was without a doubt him. She recently found a guy online that she's been trying to scrape up enough money to go see. They were talking about moving in together to get her away from her currently terrible living arrangements. She was planning on waiting to tell him about her herpes in person before they had any intimate encounters. However, she just started to flare up again and thought she should tell him why she was going to the hospital. At first he was really supporting said okay we'll deal with this it's fine. He did some research, told her ways they could avoid passing it to him, yadda yadda. Then out of no where he tells her he wants a break so he can think about things for a while. If any of you all have herpes and are in a relationship, how did you make it work? And how did you tell them? Is this reaction something that would be a deal breaker for you?
