When to buy maternity clothes?

I wear tight pants usually and now I just don't want to zip or pull those tight pants over my lil bean. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow and it feels way too early to buy maternity clothes. Would you just buy bigger pants for now or go ahead and buy maternity pants this early?

The motherhood maternity store has clothes that you can buy now and you can wear throughout your pregnancy....yesterday I got multiple pairs of maternity yoga pants and leggings as well as this cute shirt!

I started shopping maternity as soon as we started TTC.  I find cute clearance online clearance and buy it.  So I already have a drawer of some essentials, even though I won't be wearing them for a while :) I think it's ok to buy any time!  But I haven't gone out in public to buy yet just in case I run into someone before we announce.  If your pants are tight already, you might look into belly bands - or rock some leggings!

I'm five weeks and started wondering about this too! It does seem early so I've been wearing the leggings. But I'm bloating so much that my jeans are uncomfortable.

In my opinion maternity clothes are supper comfortable!!! Most times people cant even tell that your wearing maternity pants. Im already wearing them since i already had the from my last pregnancy. Im 7weeks!!!

Get a belly band. I hate maternity clothes. I just wear belly bands and camis, maxi dresses and comfy stuff

I'm 5wks 6d and wore a pair of maternity slacks out for the first time today!

They are Ann Taylor Loft and look like regular slacks. They are so much more comfy than my regular jeans or slacks that I was wearing with a belly band and button extender.

A friend told me to buy maternity pants early so I get the most use out of them. Last week, when Loft had a big sale, I went ahead and purchased some pieces. I'm so glad I did!

I noticed the full belly panels work better for me while my belly is still small. The smaller belly panel sits funny and is too big right now. It seems like it will fit better when I have more of a belly. I bought that pair for summer so hopefully it will work then.
