Am I at an unhealthy weight???
I'm 15 and I'm 5'3" and 130(ish) lbs. My mom tells me constantly that my thighs are too big and that it's unhealthy but I'm a base in cheerleading so leg strength is everything. My thighs/legs are mostly muscle (I think?) so that would be okay, right? I'm not sure, I'm very conflicted. My mother also tells me that I weigh too much and that I'm overweight for my height and at a risk of getting diabetes. My grandfather died of type 2 Diabetes when he was only in his 50s so this scares me but then again I have just started to feel good in my own skin after recovering from anorexia.
I truly don't know what to think and I'm desperately asking for guidance.
