Can I be pregnant?

Hi guys! I'm fairly new to this & need some advise. I stopped the pill around a month ago & I am now 8 days late. I have taken a test but it is showing as negative. Can I be pregnant?

Even though it says 7 days from the end of taking the pill it could take up to 6 months however this is unlikely, though from the 7 days you've got to add this as your cycle is going back to normal so you being 8 days late isn't actually being late but perhaps 1 day late to account for the 7 days. If you stopped the pill about 28 days ago, your body has only had 21 days so the period is likely to show up between now and another 7 days potentially.

Thanks guys.. I'm just trying to figure it all out as I have had what feels like period pains, bloating & headaches for nearly a week but nothing has come. I did get it a week after I stopped taking the pill but nothing since.

My periods were super irregular and cycles were long after stopping bc- between 35 and 55 days. It could take a while for your body to get back to normal!

It's a possibility but also stopping the pill can throw off your cycle. If your period doesn't come take another test in a week.
