40+1 , can laying down delay my labor from beginning !

There's nothing else to do ! Baby clothes -washed , crib & bassinet - set up , hospital bag - packed , dog - walked lol . I just feel like all there is to do is lay down and wait ! Is it possible that laying down im delaying contractions from happening ?!?
