My baby boy is 6 days old and I'm a first time mum, he's went from waking up every 4 hours to every hour and a half/2 hours for a feed (formula) and 90ml is never enough for him, so I was giving him 120ml and he always finishes the full thing, I think I may be overfeeding him because he coughed up a lot of his milk earlier and he coughs up a little of his feed a few times a day, anyone else have this issue? He also is hungry a lot more often than he should be.. the doctor suggested water but as far as I'm aware babies aren't meant to take water until they're at least 6 months old.. 😫 I was thinking of just feeding him 90ml and trying to give him a little bit at a time when he wakes up and hopefully he won't be taking too much, he's quite a small baby as well. Anyone in a similar situation or have any advice?
