Can you feel cysts?

Question

Ever since I have found out I have 2x 4cm endo cysts,  that side of my abdomen has been slightly achey (mild cramps). Is it all in my head? Or is it legit?

Answer

My doctor would argue that you can't feel them at that size, and that its all in your head, BUT I would beg to differ. I have what I thought was a 4.5cm cyst on my ovary, turns out it's paratubal and I can definitely feel it. I think what happens is, once you see it On an ultrasound, you become more "aware" that its there so when you have a cramp you know it's coming from the cyst. Does that make sense? Short answer-no I don't think it's all in your head 😉
