First time UBER-ing?!

So, I've finally decided to give in. 
BUT, is it safe? How was your first uber experience like? Prices? Help a girl out!

I drove for Lyft. I use to receive more women passengers & women drivers. I've had weird experiences with Uber because they hire anybody. Lyft also has an emergency line if something goes wrong. Unfortunately a lot of uber drivers & passengers switched to Lyft, so I don't know how safe it is anymore.

You dont know who these people or person is or are 
If you are getting into an uber or lyft be alert and cautious my bils half sister got into one and was almost kidnapped trying to get out of the car 
If you are wanting to become a driver your eyes are on the road you have no clue that could happen to you it is very easy for someone to wrap a cord around your neck im not saying this to scare you im just trying to give the worst case scenario although most people just need a ride from a to b leave nothing out of the chance
