Would you let a 12 year old wear make up?

Just wanted to know people's opinions about this topic. This morning I was watching a news programme and a topic of make up came up. As you have seen people like Kim kardashian and Katie price are allowing their young daughters to wear make up. So a topic came up saying is 12 to young to give your child make up? Some people were saying yes and others no. I have a son so don't need to worry but if I had a daughter my answer would be yes it's to young. Children should be children and not have to grow up so soon. I for one never wore make up at that age. I was a bit older before I started to wear a little make up. So I wanted to know what others think.
