Triple feedings?!

My mo/di boys were born on Monday at 36 + 4. I am currently home with one baby and the other is in the NICU. While I'm the hospital the staff had us use a triple feeding system meaning I will breastfeed the baby for 15 minutes, then feed baby formula, then pump my breasts and feed baby some of that breast milk. This process is overwhelming and takes A LOT of time. Has anyone experienced this and have any advice? Or is there any other way of feeding that isn't as busy?! Help 😩

My twins are 16 days old, born at 37+2 weeks. I only breastfeed for 15 min and then finish with formula (started with 30ml, now 50ml, because they weren't gaining enough weight) after I finish I pump for 5-20 min. Maybe 2-3 times per day. I would love to pump more, but it's hard to find tjme for it. I use a double electrical Medela pump. One suggestion could be, If you only have one baby at home right now, why not pump the opposite breast while you are breastfeeding your baby? My friend who only had one baby did that. Wishing you all the best, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to have one of your babies at the NICU still. Stay strong. ❤️ soon you will all be at home together.
