Big Fraternal Twins?

Hey ladies I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my boy girl twins. At my last scan at 27 weeks baby boy was already measuring 2 pounds 11 ounces which the dr said he is a big boy and my little girl was measuring bigger to. They are also very long due to me and my husband being tall. I'm 5"10 he's 6"2. The closer I get to my due date the more uncomfortable I am really becoming. I know it contributes to them being big ! We know our dates are correct due to us conceiving from ivf. Do you think I will deliver early ? I mean of course I want them to be nice and healthy so I worry but I also don't want to birth two 9 pounders lol.  I go for another growth scan at my high risk dr on Tuesday and I'm e cited to see how much more they have grown in a month. I am high risk due to twins, ivf, tachycardia and hypothyroidism. I am also having a ton on pressure in my crotch due to baby boy head and his being so heavy. Can any of you relate to this ? Thank you !:)

I wish I was on bed rest sometimes , lol I'm not working but I'm always sore in my hips and so much pressure I hate going anywhere.  My husband doesn't understand either. I've been getting many Braxton hicks and they are painful to. I try to worry I'm sure it's just my body getting really. I get super short of great and winded just from walking into Walmart lmao. When I go to my Ob appointment men to week I was thinking about asking for the steroid shots just for precaution ! I'll follow you so I can kinda compare since your babies are big to :) and yes his head feel so low to like he could come out any Minute but last ultrasound at 26 weeks my cervix was at a 4 but I think it could of changed due to all my Braxton hicks and pressure the past few weeks. My girl was sideways but now I think she is head down. Did they say if they are going to let you deliver like that ?

My b/g twins have been measuring ahead this whole pregnancy. At the last check at 30 weeks the boy was 3.11 and the girl was 3.6. They are also IVF twins, and I've been on bed rest for 8 weeks for shortening cervix. So I'm really happy they are so big, since I'm at a risk of preterm delivery. Actually, getting my steroids for their lungs today and tomorrow.
Funny you should mention your boy's head being in your pelvis - that's my boy too! The girl has been stretched out transverse over the top of my belly since week 14, but the boy is determined to get his head as low down as possible. Talk about peeing every 15 minutes!
I'm sure your doctor won't let them get to 9 lbs each :) Also, there are natural mechanisms that will prevent it - your uterus can only stretch that far. Their growth will slow down a bit closer to the end.
