Is it bad if I start trying for a baby already?

Im 20 years old, my husband is also 20. We got married August 11th and I just want to start making babies already. Both our parents think we should wait like 5 years and just enjoy being married but honestly I just want to start a family. I don't know who to talk to about this, and I figured I could get a completely unbiased opinion on here. What are the pros and cons of being a younger mom?

I'm 20 and my husband is 23, we got married at the beginning of the year and started trying for a baby soon after (we couldn't wait to start a family! 🙈) I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and we're both so happy and excited for our little one to be here. I think if you both feel stable in your lives and your marriage then why not try if it's what you both want! Good luck!

Why is it bad? Your married and a adult. go for it! If you feel ready then do it! I'm 16 and got pregnant at 15. If you are financially stable and relationship is good, it's really not as hard as people say, I mean I guess it depends on how good baby is. I was blessed with a very mellow baby who sleeps all night already at 2 months.

Hey I'm 21, with a almost 4 year year old and ttc with my new partner! although eveltn was unplanned, i couldn't think of how my life would be without her! Im not sure what teenage parent stigma is like in the US, but it was pretty bad here and i still get bullied for it 😑 it's your life, make your own decision! whatever happens as long as it's right for you 😗

In my opinion, it isn't ever a bad thing to have a child. If you and your husband, both want a child, then have a child. You made your own family, and if that's what you both want, then have a baby. Yes, it's okay to take in consideration your parents point of view, but also, remember that they aren't you, and you aren't them. Do what you think would make you happy. My daughter is six months old, and I already want another, but I know it isn't ideal at the moment. But if I were to be pregnant again, it would still be a miracle, no matter how challenging it can be now and then.

As long as you're ready, out of high school, and feel financially and emotionally stable...go for it! Life doesn't stop when you start a family, it may slow down and change a bit but you'll have so much energy!
