UTI, DELAYED PERIOD

I was suppose to start on the 29th (my period and I'm never late) which was the day I went to the doctor. Well didn't get my period that morning, went to the doctor for a upper respiratory infection, and found out about a "small UTI" the way my doctor put it. Well he put me on steroids, antibiotics, and couple other things. Anyways, I am 2 days late, and I am having cramps, and I was wondering if it could delay my period?? I have been wanting a baby for a while now, I have took a test, but no given. Negative. Heart breaking.. 😭 should I try to take another test when I am 6 days late or for sure just stop overthinking it, cause it could be the UTI??
