Two guys and one girl are the best threesomes for beginners, in my opinion. You have plenty of holes and hands for both of them. 
Whereas if it's two chicks one guy, the guy REALLY has to know what he's doing, and has to be able to please both women equally. Otherwise someone gets feeling left out. 
But either way, make sure you're both totally on board with it. No second thoughts. 100% in. Otherwise it won't go well.

For me it was one sided and I was super suspicious after. We ended up breaking up because I couldn't trust him after. You have to have full trust that once it is done there will be no contact unless it is a group discussion.
