I'm not a mom but I would definitely rather have my daughter exploring her body in a safe way before opening herself up to the possibility of pregnancy and STDs. But I wonder what you mean by doing it to make your boyfriend feel comfortable? If it really was your decision and you want to use it for yourself instead of having sex just be honest with her about that and that you feel safer this way. Some parents are weird about masturbation but I hope she can understand.

You are 15 and this is your mother, she probably is just upset that her baby has a dildo. She might still see you as a sweet innocent little girl so this might be a shock to her. is it just me or are people always curious to why people as young as 13 years of age are doing the shit they are doing sexual and stuff when there parents are there handing them iPhones and smart phones with no limitations??? I am a mom and a daughter who was.. an early bloomer. I can understand why your mom is freaking out but at the same time, a dildo is a very personal thing and there is nothing wrong with having one. If you are going to have one, you should find a safe place for it - like a small box that you can put under the bed or something. Did your mom know you were sexually active before she found out about the dildo? Maybe try sitting down with her and explain that you were very sexually active before but that you have chosen to be more responsible with your body, which includes self gratification over the real thing.
