Does the Take Action pill work?

So my friend and I had sex. He had a condom on and then he came in the condom and took it off. Maybe 15 minutes later he put it back in for a little bit, and he didn't cum anymore. Could there still be a little bit of sperm left on his penis? I used Take Action emergency contraceptive the next morning (About 12 hours later) to be on the safe side. Now my period is a day late. Could I be pregnant?
