late baby shower?

okay...My MIL is throwing us a baby shower in the middle of jan..with my due date being Feb 1st... with my son i had him almost 3 weeks early....im worried imma have this one early as well....thoughts???

she hasnt asked me for anything shes picking the day an time...so even if i invited my family they might have to work..

I was 37 wks at my shower. It was perfectly fine. If you go into labor just cancel or move the shower

I'm due the 4th and we had the only option of doing the shower the second week of January or in November because of the holidays coming up. 
So I'll be 28 almost 29 weeks when we have our baby shower which is kinda early but I didn't want to risk baby girl coming before the shower and I wanted to have time to get all of her things together before she got here.

Have you asked her for a sooner date? So usually when someone asks to throw a shower for you they ask for a guest list and a date. They can't plan without those 2 things and they cant assume it will work for you. So just let her know that mid Jan doesn't work for you and that the first week of January would be best. You have to consider everyone else too because it's around a major holiday. Maybe even consider first week of December? Good luck! 👍🏼

My ex boyfriend's mom is having mine 3 weeks before I'll be induced. I'm not worried about possibly going into labor before hand because we could always postpone for after she's born.
