Telling your parents

How did you go about telling your parents ?? I'm 21 and found out this week that I'm 8 weeks pregnant .. I told my mom and she seemed pretty upset but has been trying to help we just don't know how to bring it up to my dad because we feel he's going to freak and I'm worried he will hate me ..
