Labor before scheduled csection?

I have a csection schedule for 9/6 but what happens if I go into labor before then. They told me just to come in but does that mean it'll be an emergency?
Anyone have experience with this?

Typically emergency is when babe/mom or both are in danger or distress.
You'll most likely get priority because you need the c section.
I had 2 c sections because I was in labour so long and wouldn't dilate past 4 or 5 cm. I was given priority because I was induce and in labor but it wasn't an emergency because we were both stable and healthy :)
So it depends on the reason to c section. But you can also double check with your doctor.
