Up to you entirely. I personally wouldn't but that's just me. To be fair I am married and baby is getting a hyphenated last name. Which you could totally do if you want the baby to have your name. Know there are some occasions that if you have a different last name then your child it'll be more difficult.

I wouldn't. Why should you? Good luck getting child support even if you do. My cousins father owes $100,000+ in child support. They are in their 20s now and legally changing their last  names (stepfathers last name). They may not want that name if he's a deadbeat when they're older.

Looking at some of your other posts I say give it your name!! 100%! You can always change it to his if you get married or something. That's what my mom always said. I gave my son his fathers last name because I knew he'd always be there and be a great dad even if him and I broke up. My sister gave her kids the dads last name because it's what he wanted and she wishes she never had!
